Broad massive located south-east from the Tatra range. For 50 years after the Second World War it was
closed for public (military zone). South of the range one can see a magnificent Spišský hrad, one of the
largest medieval castles in Europe.
The highest and the most prominent peak: Čierna hora Levočská (1289/604m).
