Pucaranra (possibly from Quechua puka red, ranra stony; stony ground,) is a mountain in the Cordillera Blanca in the Andes of Peru, about 6,147 metres (20,167 ft) high[5] (although other sources cite an elevation of 6,156 metres (20,197 ft). It is located in Ancash, southwest of mount Chinchey. Its territory is within the Peruvian protection area of Huascarán National Park, at the border of two provinces: Carhuaz and Huaraz (Districts of San Miguel De Aco and Independencia).
